Dear reader,

I’d like to talk about who I am in response to what might show up about me with a quick Google search.

On July 8th 2024, the Twitter/X account “StopAntisemitism” decided to target and doxx me (and my Jewish wife) under headlines full of lies and hatred. This account claims that I have spread conspiracy theories about Jewish control and that I have hatred and bigotry towards Jewish people. These claims could not be further from the truth.

The truth about my life

My wife of 18 years comes from a long line of Jewish ancestry and we are proudly raising our 3 children in a household full of Jewish traditions and rituals.

Our family is in community with several groups, both Jewish and Palestinian. We are a part of the Cleveland chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace, a progressive movement of Jews in solidarity with the Palestinian freedom struggle, guided by a vision of justice, equality, and dignity for all people. Read more HERE.

We are also in close community with the group Cleveland Jewish Collective (CJC). At CJC, we connect our whole family with Jewish religious traditions throughout the year that support our lives, connect us with each other and the earth, and help us pursue justice in Cleveland and the wider world. Read more HERE.

The truth about my Anti-Zionist Beliefs

The “StopAntisemitism” account and others like it will also try to say that anti-Zionism is the same as anti-Semitism.

This is also completely untrue and a scare tactic to keep people from criticizing the government of Israel and their terror campaign against the Palestinian people.

The truth is that anti-Zionism, despite what groups like AIPAC and the ADL might try to have us believe, is actually a call to justice for Palestinians and a criticism of the Israeli government and their settler colonialism of lands in the middle-east. Anti-Zionism is not at all a statement against Jews or Judaism. Anti-Zionism is not at all anti-Semitism. Read more HERE.

The “StopAntisemitism” account is well known to represent pro-genocide, pro-ethnic-cleansing, anti-truth, and anti-speech beliefs, with their whole mission being to threaten and doxx any individuals who speak up against the state of Israel and speak out for the justice and safety of Palestinians.

I urge you to look deeper into the truth of things and not fall victim to the hate and scare tactics used by groups attempting to silence and scare dissenting opinions of the Israeli government. Groups like these do not represent American values of free speech and protest, rights that I am proud to use regularly in my life alongside my Jewish and Palestinian communities.
